Head Pins
A head pin is a pin with a small flat circular stop on the end used for stringing beads on to attach to a chain or a french ear wire for example.
Eye Pins
Eye Pins are pins with a loop at the end rather than a flat piece as with head pins are genereally used to attached beads to a chain.
French Ear Wires
French ear wires have a metal ball, a coil and also a loop for attaching beads in order to make earings.
Jump rings
Jump rings are a very popular and useful all-purpose connector in jewellery making. They are used to attach beaded head pins or eye pins to the loops of eye pins, french ear wires, chains and so forth.
