Learn to make these beautiful earings, step by step

You will need:                       

·         French hook earring

·         Head pins

·         Beads of choice

·         Spacers

 

·         Wire cutters

·         Flat nose pliers

·         Round nose pliers

Step 1:  

Place the spacer onto the head pin.

  Step 2: 

Place the larger bead above the spacer on the head pin, followed by another spacer.

 Step 3: 

Place the smaller bead above the last spacer, followed by a final spacer.

 Step 4: 

Cut the head pin using the wire cutters approximately 1.5cm above the last spacer.

 Step 5: 

Using the round nose pliers, from just above the last spacer bend the extended piece of the head pin to the side. (90 degrees).

 Step 6: 

Now bend the head pin upwards and to the opposite side. Forming what may resemble half a circle.

 Step 7: 

Now feed the head pin through the loop on the end of the earring hook.

 Step 8: 

Use the round nose pliers to bend the head pin down and around, so that two parts of the head pin overlap.

 Step9: 

Use the flat nose pliers to hold the head pin in place. Take the extended piece of the head pin with the round nose pliers and twist around the head pin.

 Step 10: 

Finally, still holding the head pin, twist it around a last time to secure it tightly.
