Learn to make this basic bracelet, step by step.
You will need: · Tiger tail · Glass pearl beads: light purple · Small glass square beads: dark blue · Jump rings · Crimp beads · Hollow beads/spacer beads · Medium lobster clasp · Wire cutters · Crimping pliers · Flat nose pliers Step 1: Measure the tiger tail loosely around your wrist and cut with wire cutters.
Step 2: Place one crimp bead onto the tiger tail. Loop the tiger tail through a jump ring and back again into crimp bead. Flatten the crimp bead using the crimping pliers. Hereby securing the jump ring onto the tiger tail.
Step 3: Place one hollow bead or spacer bead onto the tiger tail.
Step 4: Place one small square dark blue bead onto the tiger tail, followed by three light purple pearl beads. Again put one square blue bead followed three light purple pearl beads. Repeat this until you have almost reached the end of the tiger tail.
Step 5: Finish off the pattern by adding one hollow bead or spacer bead on the end.
Step 6: Place one crimp bead onto the tiger tail. Loop the tiger tail through a jump ring and back again into crimp bead. Flatten the crimp bead using the crimping pliers. Hereby securing the jump ring onto the tiger tail.
Step 7: Open the jump ring by placing the flat nose pliers in the centre and gently opening the pliers to bend the jump ring open. Loop onto the lobster clasp and close by gently closing the pliers from the outer side of the jump ring, bending it closed again.
Step 8: Cut off any stray pieces of tiger tail using the wire cutters, cutting as close to the crimp bead as you can without cutting your bracelet.
Congrats!!! You have successfully completed a bracelet. |
