Red Tube Bead Necklace PDF Print E-mail

This necklace with red tube beads and black bicone beads is elegant and easy  to make with a free beading pattern.

Step by step bead project for making a double strand red necklace.

 

You will need:              

·        Red tube beads

·        Black bicone beads

·        Crimps

·        Tigertail

·        Split rings

·        Magnetic clasp

 

·        Split ring opener

·        Crimper

·        Wire cutters

Step 1:

 

Measure 2 strands of the tigertail around your neck. It should be more or less the length of any necklace you find comfortable. Cut with wire cutters. Create a small loop on the end and crimp into place.

Step 2:

 

On one of the strands begin with a black bicone, followed by 3 red tubes, 1 black bicone, 3 red tubes… continue with this pattern till you get to the end of the tigertail. Create a small loop on the end and crimp into place.

Step 3:

 

On the other strand begin with the red tubes first. 3 tubes, 1 black bicone, 3 red tubes, 1black bicone, and so continue the pattern till you reach the end of the tigertail. Create a small loop on the end as you did with the first strand.

Step 4:

 

Place one end of both strands onto the same split ring. Place the other end of both strands onto another but same split ring.

Step 5: 

 

Place one half of the magnetic clasp onto a split ring and join to the split ring on the one end of the necklace.

Place the other half of the magnetic clasp onto a split ring and join to the split ring on the other end of the necklace.

Step 6:

 

Join the clasp, wear and enjoy!
