Here’s a very simple guide to opening and closing a jump ring.

For this you will need a jump ring, flat nose pliers, round nose pliers.

Step 1:

Take hold of your jump ring with the flat nose pliers on one side.

Step 2:

Use the round nose pliers and gently pull the other side of the ring away from itself.

Step 3:

Reverse the above step by pushing the ring back towards itself to close.

Tip:

The more you do it the easier it will be.
