This beaded daisy necklace is a great way to welcome in the spring. Use the free beading project to make your own.
Step by step guide for a beaded daisy necklace.
You will need: · Silver/clear seed beads · Light coloured seed beads (orange) · Dark coloured seed beads (red) · Jump rings · Clasp · End caps · Chain ends · Beading wire · Beading cord (approx 42cm)
Step 1: Place 5 silver beads onto a wire. Twist the ends together and cut off the short end.
Step 2: For the petal, begin placing 4 of the dark seed beads, 8 light beads, and 4 dark beads onto the wire. Thread the wire back through the 1st silver bead, thus creating a round petal.
Step 3: Moving in an anti clockwise direction, feed the wire through the 5th silver bead. Place 4 of the dark seed beads, 8 light beads, and 4 dark beads onto the wire. Thread the wire back through the 5th silver bead, thus creating another round petal.
Step 4:
Repeat the above step with each of the silver beads, hereby creating 4 petals.
Step 5: Before completing the last petal, add a jump ring to the wire and continue as with the others.
Step 6: To complete your flower, wrap the wire 5 times around the centre piece wire and trim off the excess.
Step 7: Tie a knot into the cord. Place within the cup of the end cap. Close the cup and hook. Attach the chain end and the loop of the end cap with a jump ring.
Step 8: Place your beaded flower onto the cord. Tie a knot into the end of the cord. Place within the cup of the end cap. Close the cup and hook.
Step 9: Attach the loop of the clasp and the loop of the end cap to a jump ring.
Step 10: Wear and enjoy.
Congrats!!! You have successfully completed a beaded daisy chain using our free beding pattern. |
