Necklace With Beaded Flower PDF Print E-mail

This beaded daisy necklace is a great way to welcome in the spring. Use the free beading project to make your own.

Step by step guide for a beaded daisy necklace.

 

You will need:              

·        Silver/clear seed beads

·        Light coloured seed beads (orange)

·        Dark coloured seed beads (red)

·        Jump rings

·        Clasp

·        End caps

·        Chain ends

·        Beading wire

·        Beading cord (approx 42cm)

Step 1:

Place 5 silver beads onto a wire. Twist the ends together and cut off the short end.

Step 2:

For the petal, begin placing 4 of the dark seed beads, 8 light beads, and 4 dark beads onto the wire. Thread the wire back through the 1st silver bead, thus creating a round petal.

Step 3:

Moving in an anti clockwise direction, feed the wire through the 5th silver bead. Place 4 of the dark seed beads, 8 light beads, and 4 dark beads onto the wire. Thread the wire back through the 5th silver bead, thus creating another round petal.

Step 4:

 

Repeat the above step with each of the silver beads, hereby creating 4 petals.

Step 5:

Before completing the last petal, add a jump ring to the wire and continue as with the others.

Step 6:

To complete your flower, wrap the wire 5 times around the centre piece wire and trim off the excess.

Step 7:

Tie a knot into the cord. Place within the cup of the end cap. Close the cup and hook. Attach the chain end and the loop of the end cap with a jump ring.

Step 8:

Place your beaded flower onto the cord. Tie a knot into the end of the cord. Place within the cup of the end cap. Close the cup and hook.

Step 9:

Attach the loop of the clasp and the loop of the end cap to a jump ring.

Step 10:

Wear and enjoy.
