Step by step guide for making a pair of multi strand stud earrings

 

You will need:              

·        Thin chain

·        Small red bicones

·        Stud earrings

·        Earring butterfly

·        Head pins

·        Split rings

Step 1:

 

Cut the thin chain into 10 strands of 10 links each. (5 strands per earring).

Step 2:

 

Attach 5 strands to one of the split rings.

Step 3:

 

Place the bicones onto head pins. Cut the wire to approximately 1cm above the bicone. (One bicone and head pin for each strand of chain.)

Step 4:

 

Create a loop attaching the head pin to the last link of the strands.

Step 5:

 

Do this with all the strands of chain.

Step 6:

 

Attach the split ring to the loop of the stud earring.

Step 7:

 

Add the butterfly to the stud earring’s pin.

Step 8:

 

Repeat all steps for the other earring.
