Learn how to tie an overhand knot with a loop.

 

Step 1:

 

Fold the cord over so that it lies against itself. The size of the loop will determine the length of cord.

Taking both cord thicknesses, wrap into a circle under the loop fold.

Twist the loop around and push through the circle of double strand.
