Learn how to tie a square knot using our free bead pattern

Step 1:

Take an end of your cord in each hand, then loop one end of the cord under the other end of the cord. Gently pull the ends to slide the knot to where you want it.

Step 2:

Do the same as in step one, taking one end and looping under the other a second time.

Step 3:

Gently pull the cord tighter until it is secure. For extra securing, seal the knot with a drop of craft glue or clear nail varnish.
