Use our free beading pattern to make this beautiful watch with coloured beads and charms.

Step by step guide for making a colourful beaded charm watch.

You will need:

·        Chain of desired thickness

·        Fob clasp

·        Charms

·        Hollow beads or spacer beads

·        Colourful beads (green memory beads used here)

·        Jump rings

·        Head pins

·        Round nose pliers

·        Flat nose pliers

·        Wire cutters

Step 1:

Cut the chain into the desired lengths. Take into account the size will increase slightly due to clasp being added.

Step 2:

Attach the clasp to the chain using a jump ring.

To open a jump ring place round nose pliers inside and gently open. To close, place flat nose pliers on outside and gently close.

Step 3:

Lay the chain out straight. Calculate where you would like to place your charms and spacer beads. In this example each is placed alternatively every 2 links in the chain.

Step 4:

Attach the charms using a jump ring, to the chosen link in the chain. Here it is done every 8^th link.

Step 5:

Place a spacer bead onto a head pin. Cut the head pin using wire cutters about 1cm above the bead.

 Bend the head pin around using round nose pliers to create a loop above the bead.

Step 6:

Attach the hollow beads to a jump ring and attach the jump ring to the chain. Here it is done every 4^th link from the charms.

Step 7:

Place the coloured beads onto the head pins. Cut the head pins about 1cm above the beads. Loop the head pins as done in step 5.

Step 8:

Place your beads onto your chain. Here they are placed every 2 links.

Step 9:

Attach a split ring to the loop on the watch face. Attach this to any free or desired link in your chain.

Step 10:

Wear with pride and enjoy.
