This necklace looks great and is easy to make with our free beading patterns.
Step by step guide for making a brown bead necklace using our free beading pattern You will need: · Brown beads · Purple beads · Hollow beads · Tiger tail · Crimps · Split rings · Clasp · Head pins
Step 1:
Measure the tigertail around your neck. Add a few extra centimeters for safety. Create a loop on the end of the tigertail using a crimp bead.
Step 2:
Place your beads creating the following pattern: 1 hollow bead, 1 brown bead, and so on. Repeat this approximately 12 times. Add another hollow bead after the last brown bead placed.
Step 3:
Onto a head pin, place the beads as follows: 1 hollow bead, 1 brown bead, 1 hollow bead, 1 purple bead, 1 hollow bead. Cut off the excess head pin and bend a loop into the end of the remaining head pin. You will need to make approximately 5 of these beaded drops.
Step 4:
Place the longer beaded drop onto the tigertail, followed by a hollow bead, a brown bead and another hollow bead.
Step 5:
Make a smaller hanging beaded drop by placing 1 hollow bead, 1 purple bead, 1 hollow bead onto a head pin. Cut off the excess and bend a loop into the remaining end. You will need to make approximately 4 of these beaded drops.
Step 6:
Place the smaller beaded drop onto the tigertail, followed by a hollow bead, a brown bead and another hollow bead. Continue placing the longer and smaller beaded drops as above said until youve used all 5 long beaded drops.
Step 7:
Finish off by adding the following beads: 1 hollow bead, 1 brown bead, and so on. Repeat this approximately 12 times or until you reach the end of the tigertail. Add another hollow bead after the last brown bead placed. Your necklace should be exactly the same on both halves.
Create a loop on the end of the tigertail using a crimp bead.
Step 8:
Add a split ring to the loop on both ends of the clasp.
Step 9:
Attach the split rings on the clasps to the loops created on the tigertail.
Step 10:
Wear with pride and enjoy.
