Step by step beading pattern for making beaded hair grips.

You will need:              

·        Hair grips

·        Beading wire

·        Small leaf bead

·        Small round red beads

·        Small oval cream beads

Step 1:

Cut a length of wire. For safety, make it 3 times the length of the hair pin. Place the leaf bead onto the wire, followed by a red bead and a cream bead. Alternate the red and cream beads in this way till you have the length of the hair grip.

Step 2:

Twist one end of the wire around the tip end of the pin 4 times; making sure that the longer part of the wire is heading the opposite way. Cut off the excess.

Step 3:

Now, laying the beads on the hair pin, wind the wire around the opposite end of the pin once.

Step 4:

Now wind the wire around each bead and the hair grip. Do this until you reach the end of the hair piece.

Step 5:

When you get to the end, wind the wire 4 times around the tip of the hair grip. Cut off the excess wire.

 Step 6:  

Wear and enjoy.
