Our step by step instructions will help you make this beaded penguin

You will need:                       

·         Wire (approximately 70cm)

·         Wire (approximately 20cm)

·         Black seed beads

·         White seed beads

·         Orange seed beads

·         2 green beads

·         Wire cutters

Step 1:

 Center your wire onto a jump ring. One end of the wire will be wire A,

the other end will be wire B.

Now, feed 6 black beads onto wire A. feed wire B through the same beads from the other end. This is row 1.

Step 2:

 Continue in the same manner with the following rows:

Row 2: 2 black, 1 green, 2 black, 1 green, 2 black

Row 3: 3 black, 4 orange, 3 black

At this point you need to feed the 20cm wire through the 4 orange beads.

Step 3:

 For making the beak, continue with the following 2 rows:

Row A: 2 orange

Row B: 1 orange

Now you twist the 2 wire ends together to secure the beak in place, then cut the extra wire using the wire cutters.

Step 4:

 For row 4, you add 10 black beads.

Step 5:

 To make the wings you will place 15 black beads onto wire A. repeat for wire B.

Then you feed wire A through the 1^st black bead. Repeat for wire B.

Gently pull tight.

Step 6:

 Make row 5:  1 black, 7 white, 1 black.

Step 7:

 Continue with the following rows:

Row 6: 1 black, 9 white, 1 black

Row 7: 1 black, 9 white, 1 black,

Row 8: 1 black, 10 white, 1 black

Row 9: 1 black, 11 white, 1 black

Row 10: 1 black, 10 white, 1 black

Row 11: 1 black, 8 white, 1 black

Row 12: 9 black

Step 8:

 For the feet, place 7 orange beads onto wire A and feed the same wire through the 1^st orange bead. Repeat for wire B. Gently pull tight. Feed the wires through the same beads again to secure.

Step9:

 Use the wire cutters to cut off the extra wire.

Step 10:

 Place onto a key ring, your cell phone or even hand bag and enjoy.
